There is still a shot for Indiana, but they need to get on track fast because the light at the end of the tunnel is dimming.

This season has been of trials and tribulations for Indiana, but it is going to end in the way Hoosier fans will be happy with, and that is seeing Mike Woodson step down. However, this season isn't over just yet, even with all the tough stretches Indiana has been through.

The Hoosiers are lucky that they had a good start to the season with a few losses to some Quad 1 teams. However, it is their stretch of losses as of late that has kind of knocked them out of bubble watch for the NCAA Tournament. With eight games left in the season though, Indiana can make a push to get back on the bubble.

It all starts with Indiana's next matchup against No. 24 Michigan. The Hoosiers have the luck of playing this game at home and a win in this game isn't just a ranked win, but a Quad 1 win, which is something the selection committee takes into consideration, especially for struggling teams.

The Hoosiers then have the tough test of heading to Michigan State to take on the first place Spartans in the Big Ten. This game, with the way Indiana has played lately, is most likely a loss in the books for the Hoosiers, but keeping it close can also be taken into account.

The rest of the teams left on Indiana's schedule are home against UCLA, No. 7 Purdue, Penn State, and Ohio State and on the road against Washington and Oregon. Looking at Quad 1 wins, Indiana could rack up a few of those against UCLA, No. 7 Purdue, Ohio State, and Oregon.

If Indiana can get at least two or three of those Quad 1 wins, that would go a long way with the committee, however, they can't afford to lose to a team like Washington, who is near the bottom of the Big Ten.

The NCAA Tournament dream isn't gone, but Indiana has to change their playing style as of late and start picking up wins in the close games rather than dropping them late. Woodson has a chance to at least go out with another NCAA Tournament appearance.
