The No. 3 seed Indiana Hoosiers 2025 softball season came to a end on Saturday night at Bogle Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas as Indiana fell to No. 2 Seed Oklahoma State, 16-8 in six innings.

Earlier in the day Saturday, Indiana edged No. 4 Seed Saint Louis, 4-2, in the day’s first elimination game at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional.

To start the day Indiana jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning after captain and outfielder Taylor Minnick's RBI double and her scoring on Avery Parker's sacrifice fly.

Then the worst happened as, the Oklahoma State Cowgirls' bats got hot and were unstoppable during a 12-run third inning.

Indiana scored six runs in the fourth inning, but it wasn’t nearly enough in the eight-run loss. The Hoosiers never fully recovered and it took the air out the teams aura completely.

Oklahoma State (35-19), which needs to win twice against host Arkansas to advance to the NCAA Super Regional round.

But with IU's loss to Oklahoma State, the Indiana Hoosiers finished the season at 34-20.

Indiana had a somewhat underwhelming season overall but did compete in three-straight NCAA Tournaments for the first time in program history.
