2027 tight end prospect Mason Oglesby from New Palestine High School in Indiana has been offered by the Indiana Hoosiers football program.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end was in Bloomington on February 1st for Junior Day and was impressed by Indiana's coaching staff and what they are building.

Indiana had a truly special first season under head coach Curt Cignetti and he retained his whole coachign staff, minus Tino Sunseri who left for UCLA (Quarterback coach and Offensive Coord).

The 11 victories in the 2024 season are the most in Indiana program history and mark the first double-digit win season in Hoosier history.

Cignetti, who led the Hoosiers to their first ever berth in the College Football Playoff, was named The Associated Press Coach of the Year on Tuesday. He’s also been named the Walter Camp Foundation Coach of the Year, Home Depot Coach of the Year, American Football Coaches Association Coach of the Year, Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year and The Sporting News Coach of the Year.

Oglesby currently has offers from Indiana, Kent State, Miami (OH), and Toledo. He said the visit to Indiana and how he was treated made a strong impression on him.

“Indiana showed a lot of love and I’m going to keep that in mind,” Oglesby told 247Sports

Mason Oglesby had a stellar sophomore season for New Palestine H.S in 2024 playing on both sides of the football. At the tight end position, Oglesby had 35 receptions for 364 yards and a touchdown.
