Indiana Men's Basketball win 69-58 over UNC Greensboro, next opponent is Louisville
No. 16 Indiana remained unbeaten (4-0) with a 69-58 home win over the UNC Greensboro Spartans (2-2).
The Hoosiers mat have been looking ahead to their tournament opponent Louisville, as they face off in the first round of the "Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis".
Myles Rice, who scored a game-high 20 points led the Hoosiers in scoring, next was Bryson Tucker who scored 14 points and hit two big field goals down the stretch for IU and Mike Woodson.
No other Hoosiers reached double-figure scoring in the ball game. Oumar Ballo had 9 points and 11 rebounds and Malik Reneau had 9 points to go along with 10 rebounds.
“I've got to give this Greensboro team a lot of credit. I thought they played harder than we did. We didn't play hard, and that's unacceptable. That's on me,” Woodson said.
Next, the Hoosiers will square off against Louisville in the first game of the Thanksgiving tournament, which will be played on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at noon. ESPN will have the television coverage.
