Indiana men's basketball offers 7-foot center Ethan Taylor

7-foot-1 and 240-pound center Ethan Taylor has announced he received an offer from the Indiana men's basketball staff this week. Taylor specifically thanked new Hoosiers assistant coach Rod Clark when announcing his offer on X.

Taylor a junior from Shawnee Mission Northwest H.S. (Shawnee, Kansas) averaged 14.0 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game in 2024. Taylor was also named first team all-state last season leading Shawnee Mission to back-to back state titles.

Taylor plays for the MOKAN Elite program on the Nike EYBL circuit, where so far this season he is averaging 11.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15 minutes per game.

According to 247Sports Composite, Ethan Taylor is ranked as the No. 49 overall prospect in the class of 2026, he is also the fifth best center in the class and the No. 2 ranked player overall in the state of Kansas behind small forward Chidi Nwigwe.

Taylor is ranked the No. 49 overall player in the On3 Industry Rankings for the 2026 class, and the No. 5 center in the class.

In addition to Indiana, Taylor also holds offers from Tennessee, Missouri, Purdue, Oklahoma and others.
