The Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated the Indiana Hoosiers in their national televised game 85-68. In a tough road loss for the Hoosiers they fall to 8-3 overall and 1-1 in B1G conference play

It was Mike Woodson's Indiana team first true road test at Pinnacle Bank Arena in front of a 15,500-person sold-out crowd and the moment seemed a little too bright for IU late in the ball game.

First and foremost redshirt sophomore Myles Rice showed up to play with a team-high 20-point performance and four steals on defense. Rice didn't get to much help especially in the second half. Oumar Ballo and Malik Renau only combined for 20 points and 9 rebounds together on 10 total shots.

We took shots out of rhythm and gave up some open looks, that's a recipe for disaster. "We have to be better going down the stretch." said guard Myles Rice

Nebraska pulled away in the second half, outscoring Indiana 41-27. Brice Williams had a 30 point night and as a team the Cornhuskers shot 61.2% from the field and 57.1% from the 3PT line.

Indiana struggled offensively, shooting just 27.8% from the field and 15% from three-point range after halftime.

Nebraska:
Brice Williams: 30 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists
Juwan Gary: 14 points, 5 rebounds
Andrew Morgan: 10 points, 5 rebounds

Indiana:
Myles Rice: 20 points, 3 assists
Malik Reneau: 12 points, 3 rebounds
Trey Galloway: 10 points, 3 assists

Indiana (8-3, 1-1 Big Ten) will return to Bloomington to take on the University of Tennessee Chattanooga on Dec. 21 and Winthrop University on Dec. 29 to end the season and 2024 year before conference play.
