Indiana lost to the team that won it all, so the apologies better start flooding in

Ohio State officially won it all, and now everyone seriously needs to apologize to Indiana.

The Indiana Hoosiers had the best season in their program's history, and that is what fans are choosing to look at instead of all the hate and disrespect this team dealt with throughout the entire year.

Even when the two teams that were in the National Championship were the only two teams that Indiana lost to, no one wanted to give the Hosiers any credit. Well, now they have to with Ohio State winning it all in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Indiana lost to Ohio State late in the regular season, suffering their first loss of the season, making them 10-1 after their trip to Columbus. The Hoosiers lost by 23 points at Ohio State, but Tennessee lost by 25 in Columbia, and Oregon lost by 20 in Eugene. Both Tennessee and Oregon were ranked higher than Indiana and still struggled just as much as the Hoosiers, if not more.

Ohio State clearly was a team with one goal in mind, and nothing was stopping them, and that was winning the National Championship. It didn't matter if they were facing the toughest team in the country, which they technically did when they played No. 1 Oregon in the second round, they were a college football wrecking ball.

Indiana's only two losses this season came to Notre Dame, the team that also couldn't beat Ohio State and Ohio State, but remember, Indiana didn't belong.

No one can say that Indiana can't hang because every team that Ohio State faced in the College Football Playoff gave up at least 28 points with Texas putting up the best fight. Indiana gave up 38 points, but Notre gave up 34, Oregon gave up 41 and Tennessee gave up 42 points.

Indiana belonged, but no one wanted to admit it. Hopefully, with the success of Ohio State, at some point, people will understand that there was no stopping Ohio State, and Indiana is just a part of their National Championship story.
