Indiana looked remarkably better than higher-ranked Ohio State in their Week 9 games

In a weekend of big-time matchups and Big Ten showdowns, the No. 13 Indiana Hoosiers hosted the unranked Washington Huskies while the No. 4 Ohio State Buckeyes hosted the unranked Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Despite the Hoosiers' starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke still on the sidelines with his hand injury and subsequent surgery, backup QB Tayven Jackson stepped up to the plate and delivered as Indiana faced Washington for the first time as conference opponents.
Meanwhile, Ohio State, who is supposedly one of the top dogs in the conference, struggled against the recently lackluster Cornhuskers.
At the end of the third quarter, the Buckeyes had managed to build a minimal five-point advantage over Nebraska, allowing the Cornhuskers to score 9 points. Just a few minutes into the fourth quarter, Dylan Raiola marched his team down the field and, all of a sudden, the Cornhuskers had a 17-14 lead.
In the other early-morning Big Ten matchup, Indiana was easily handling the Huskies. Despite Washington striking first in the second half, bringing the game within 3 points, the Hoosiers could not be stopped and continued to build upon the 10-point lead they had built by halftime.
The Buckeyes, who were initially ranked as the top team in the Big Ten, continued to struggle against Nebraska which is one of the worst things Ohio State could have had happen in Week 9. Coming off of a bye following the Week 7 loss to Oregon, the Buckeyes needed a dominant win, especially with Penn State, Michigan, and Indiana remaining on their schedule.
Sure, Nebraska has been a more formidable opponent this season and, yes, Ohio State walked away with the win, but it was only a 4-point victory... against the Cornhuskers.
Indiana's two-touchdown win over Washington was resounding. It pushed the Hoosiers to 8-0 overall, the best record in the Big Ten at that point. There is no denying Indiana is white hot and the Buckeyes are... starting to feel a slight chill.
