In the biggest and most hyped game in Indiana Hoosiers program history, IU failed to deliver falling to Ohio State 38-15 in a 23 point road loss in Columbus.

The Buckeyes scored 31 unanswered points after Indiana opened the game with a early touchdown and were dominate from that point on to finish. IU scored a late touchdown and two point conversion but it was little to late but it made the final score a tad bit better, eventually losing by 23 points instead of 31.

Through 11 games this season, the Hoosiers strength of schedule has been the biggest criticism of their previously undefeated season. Of Indiana's 10 wins, only three teams have a winning record on the year (Nebraska, Washington and Michigan who are all 6-5).

The Hoosiers are still projected to make the CFB Playoffs and finish fourth in the conference behind Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State. The recently released coaches poll have IU sitting at No. 10. ESPN college football rankings also have Indiana at No. 10 dropping them 5 spots.

The Hoosiers got some much needed help after their loss to Ohio State with tons of week 13 chaos in the afternoon and evening games on Saturday. No. 9 Ole miss fell to Florida, No. 7 Alabama was blown out by Oklahoma and No. 15 Texas A&M lost in four overtime thriller to Auburn on the road. Not to mention BYU and Colorado all loss in the wacky Big XII conference.

Indiana takes on in-state rival the Purdue Boilermakers who are 1-10 and ranked dead last in the Big Ten Conference. The game will air on Fox Sports 1 at 7:30pm ET on Saturday.
