After an impressive 77-71 win against Penn State on the road Sunday, Mike Woodson and the Indiana Hoosiers seek their 11th win back at home when they host the (9-5) USC Trojans tonight at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

This season, Indiana is 12-3 overall, with wins against South Carolina, Providence, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Penn State. The only losses they have are against Louisville, Gonzaga, and Nebraska.

The USC Trojans led by first year head coach Eric Mussleman has struggled this season, the Trojans have lost five games and their most recent loss came at home at the hands of the Michigan Wolverines 85-74.

The Hoosiers have four players who are averaging double-digit points, and they are Malik Reneau (14.1), Mackenzie Mgbako (14.1), Oumar Ballo (13.6) and Myles Rice (12.0). Only Rice and Mgbako have started all 15 games for Indiana.

That balance will be the key for IU to pull off a victory tonight along with dominating on the boards. USC's Josh Cohen (9.7 ppg, 2.7 rpg) and Saint Thomas (9.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 4.3 apg) will have to make up for a lack of depth in the front court especially with the injury Terrance Williams II who is their star forward and will be out of the game (missed last five games).

A name for Hoosiers fans to keep a eye on tonight is Wesley Yates III. Yates, a redshirt transfer from Washington has been hot as of late. Since becoming a starter over the last five games, replacing Williams II he has averaged 12.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

The KenPom projection is Indiana by seven with a 74 percent chance of a Hoosier victory. Bart Torvik’s rankings like IU by six with  72 percent chance of a Hoosier win.
