The Indiana Hoosiers football program capped off a historic 2024 regular season with a blowout win over Purdue, 66-0, in the 99th Old Oaken Bucket Game, to improve to 11-1 under first year head coach Curt Cignetti. The Hoosiers beat down the Purdue Boilermakers for the first time since 2019 and defeated the in-state rivals in Bloomington for the first time since 2016.
Hoosiers senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke completed 23 of 31 passes for 346 yards and a career-high six touchdowns, helping the Hoosiers out gained the Boilermakers 582-67. It's the third time this year Rourke has thrown four TD passes or more.

Purdue fired their head football coach Ryan Walters, the school announced Sunday, two seasons into his tenure. Ryan Walters finished his second season with a 5-19 record.
