The Indiana Hoosiers are ranked No. 20 in Cole Thompson's of Texans Wire and SEC Unfiltered's Way too early college football top 25 for the 2025 season.

"Doubt Curt Cignetti all you want, call it a one year wonder if you see fit. I can understand why but there is going to be a reason to believe in the Hoosiers once again said Thompson on his "Way Too Early" episode

With the additions of wide receiver Makai Jackson a transfer from App State who will join the Hoosiers in 2025 after totaling 2,154 receiving yards at Appalachian State and Saint Francis and Fernando Mendoza who was the third-leading passer in the ACC this season with 3,004 passing yards on 68.7% passing, 18 total touchdowns and 6 interceptions over 11 games there is a lot to be excited for on offense.

They also return starters Omar Cooper Jr and Elijah Sarratt at the wide receiver position. They also return a solid defense that includes three All-Americans in Aiden Fisher, Mikial Kamara and D'Angelo Ponds.

Pair that with 19 more portal transfers in year two Indiana won't go away quietly, they won't be favorite to win the Big Ten like Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan or Penn State but they will be a dark horse for a at learge berth in the CFP in 2025.
