Indiana football is ranked No. 22 in the Week 3 Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Hoosiers improved one spot from their Week 2 No. 23 ranking after defeating Kennesaw State 56-9, at Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
The Hoosiers began the season at No. 20 in the AP poll before dropping to No. 23 after a lackluster performance defeating Old Dominion University, by 13 points on week one (August 30th).
This is the 14th consecutive AP Poll, Indiana is in the top 25, extending the longest such streak in program history.

Five other Big Ten schools were ranked in the AP Top 25 poll, joining Indiana. Ohio State and Penn State remained at No. 1 and No. 2, overall while, Oregon and Illinois both jumped two spots with the Oregon at No. 4 and Illinois at No. 9.
After their loss 24-13 loss to Oklahoma on Sept. 6th, Michigan fell eight spots to No. 23 in the latest poll.
USC and Nebraska each received votes in the poll with 64 and 10, respectively.
Indiana faces the No. 9 Fighting Illini in two weeks in Bloomington in a night game, which will be the biggest home game for IU in recent memory.
In the USA Today Coaches' Poll, Indiana is ranked at No. 19, a two-spot jump from their Week 2 ranking. The Hoosiers have been ranked in both the AP Top-25 and USA Today Coaches' Poll for 15 consecutive weeks.

Indiana (2-0) will close its non-conference schedule against in state opponent Indiana State University at 6:30 p.m. Friday inside Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. The Hoosiers and Sycamores will kickoff on Big Ten Network.
