Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti like he does every single week gave an injury update, this time on starting linebacker and All-American Aiden Fisher's status. During his weekly press conference on Monday, Coach Cig said:
"I would list Aiden Fisher as probable," Cignetti told the media during the presser

Aiden Fisher underwent testing on a knee injury he suffered in the first few minutes of the 56-6 win over the UCLA Bruins on Saturday. Fisher put on a knee brace after coming up with a pick-six on the Bruins' opening drive and played one additional series before coming out of the game for good.

Fisher on the season has 49 tackles (20 solo) with seven for a loss, 2.5 sacks and an interception for a touchdown.

The 2024-25 season for Indiana was a magical one with IU going, 11-2 overall appearing in their first College Football Playoff in school history. Fisher was named a first-team All-America at linebacker from Football Writers Association of America and Phil Steele. He was also the first Indiana linebacker to earn first-team All-America status in program history in his first season with the program.

If Fisher can't go on Saturday at Maryland his replacement will be junior linebacker Isaiah Jones. While most of his game reps come at outside linebacker told reporters he feels comfortable playing inside or anywhere the team needs him.

All-conference defensive end Mikail Kamara also left briefly in the first half with what appeared to be a shoulder or arm injury, but he did return and is proable for the game versus Maryland.

The Hoosiers (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) extended their school-record home winning streak to 14 but take their talents on the road to take on the road this upcoming week when they face Maryland at SEC Stadium in College Park, Maryland.

The Indiana Hoosiers (8-0, 5-0) are going after a second straight playoff bid and are one of six remaining unbeaten teams in the FBS. Other teams include No. 1 Ohio State, No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 8 Georgia Tech, No. 10 BYU and unranked Navy. The Hoosiers are also receiving the second-most first-place votes, trailing only the defending national champion Buckeyes, who they are looking to face in the Big Ten Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
