After their historic 9-0 start to the 2024 regular season, the Indiana Hoosiers are now ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press college football poll.

The Associated Press ranked the Hoosiers No. 8 in their most recent poll.

Indiana defeated Michigan State 47-10 on Saturday evening to remain undefeated this season.

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns in his return to action. The Hoosiers have scored at least 41 points in six of their last seven games.

The win over the Spartans also passed the 8-0 start for the 1967 IU football team. The 2024 team led by head coach Curt Cigentti now sits at 9-0, the best start on the gridiron in the program's history.

Indiana owns wins over FIU, Western Illinois, at UCLA, Charlotte, Maryland, at Northwestern, Nebraska, Washington and at Michigan State. IU leads the nation in touchdowns scored (57), point differential per game (+27.8), and has trailed only once this season.

The Hoosiers next opponent is the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Their game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. in Bloomington versus the defending national champions.
