Well, here we are again, another game, another loss for Indiana as they drop their fourth straight this season and their 21st straight loss to Wisconsin in Madison. This game, in fact, was practically over in the first five minutes as Indiana couldn't seem to buy a basket, and Wisconsin was using all of their allowance to buy every bucket they could.
Wisconsin is one of the top three-point percentage teams in the Big Ten, and instead of putting pressure on the perimeter, the Hoosiers allowed the Badgers to take shot after shot from beyond the three-point line, and they hit a lot of them, 12 of them to be exact.
Indiana fans have been done with head coach Mike Woodson for a while now, but after the loss tonight, they are sharpening their pitchforks and lighting their torches, and they are certainly letting their feelings out on social media.
Fire Mike Woodson #IUBB

Plain. And. Simple.
I don’t know how you let Mike Woodson get on the team plane on the way home with this blowout loss. I don’t give a damn how close the games have been. 1-6 in your last 7 games (easily could be 0-7) is a disgrace with a 5 million dollar roster.

Can we get a confirmation on whether or not Woodson made it on the plane back to Bloomington, just asking for a friend.
Mike Woodson has to go. He's a school legend, but it's clear it's not working out. If we want any chance at recruiting elite talent and lifting banner #6, we have to move on https://t.co/rYkeMEqHvD

No one wants to play for a losing program and if Woodson sticks around, that is what Indiana will continue to be.
Will the fans & students chant “we want Dusty” or “fire Mike Woodson. Or, both. While Dusty coaches on the other sideline Saturday. Stay tuned. #iubb
— FIREMIKEWOODSON (@SheriffWoodson) February 5, 2025
The fact that the fans might be chanting that they want the coach of the team Indiana is playing is absolutely insane and just shows how much Woodson needs to go. Stay tuned to see which chant the student section chooses.
@IndianaMBB the Mike Woodson era needs to over. Immediately.

Sincerely, the entire fan base.
While the rest of the Big Ten would love for Woodson to stick around, the entire fan base is sharpening their pitch forks and lighting their torches, it is time for Woodson to be fired.
Can’t wait for Mike Woodson to tell us why everyone, but him, cost us the game tonight. #iubb

If there is one thing Indiana fans can count on when it comes to Woodson, it is that he won't take responsibility when the Hoosiers lose, it always seems to be someone else's fault. Not a good look Woodson, not a good look.
Is Mike Woodson gonna get fired?
— Dmize (@dmize22222) February 5, 2025
This is the question every single Indiana Hoosiers fan has been asking for a long time now.
Does this IUBB absolutely suck with no talent or is there a lot of talent and no coaching? Either way this entire season is Mike woodson's fault
— Addicted Hoosier (@AddictedHoosier) February 5, 2025
At this point, it is definitely Woodson because the players on the court have talent, but if the head coach can't lead them, there is nothing they can do. A team that has one of the worst three-point percentages in the Big Ten should not be shooting a majority of three-pointers in a game. A team that knows they are playing one of the best three-point shooting teams in the Big Ten should be coached that they need to guard the perimeter, it all comes back to coaching and preparation.
Make Mike Woodson walk home from Madison. He needs some time to think about how deep of a hole he’s dug the program into… embarrassing.
— Ian (@Golfpundant) February 5, 2025
It’s simple. If he’s not fired, prepare for a mass exodus of Reneau, Tucker, Rice, Mgbako, Carlyle & recruits. #iubb
At this point, the whole program might be gone at the end of the season, whether he is fired or not. Woodson has built such a horrible culture at Indiana right now that it wouldn't be surprising if all the players wanted out. Either way, Woodson has got to go if Indiana wants to get back to being a winning program that consistently makes the NCAA Tournament.
