The Indiana Hoosiers and South Carolina Gamecocks are currently competing in the second round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. This is a rematch from last year's Sweet 16 matchup, where the Gamecocks walked away with a four-point win, but the Hoosiers went down fighting.
The Hoosiers played a phenomenal first half and even went into halftime up a point on the Gamecocks 26-25. However, midway through the third quarter, Indiana simply fell apart when South Carolina turned up the heat on defense. The Hoosiers went from being up by a point to being down by 11 going into the fourth quarter.
Fans couldn't believe what they were seeing and took to social media to share their feelings with everyone.

South Carolina’s Women’s BB team is STIFLING Indiana with the defense right now
South Carolina's defense really came out of nowhere, and the Hoosiers weren't quite ready, but as this game goes into the fourth quarter, Indiana needs to find something inside themselves to push them forward. They need to slow down on offense, get high-percentage shots, and then play tough defense.
Indiana I had hope 😭

You can still have hope; there is still an entire quarter left to play, and last year in the Sweet 16, South Carolina had a 20+ point lead and Indiana cut it down to two in the fourth quarter. Don't give up hope yet.
INDIANA GET IT TG

It doesn't matter how loud you scream it; they can't hear you. This South Carolina team is no joke, but Indiana has a chance to get back into it, they just need to slow down and execute.
Indiana was starting to grab some momentum back before the charge call on Parrish. Will be interesting to see how both teams respond out of the break.

It was a questionable call, and with the game at South Carolina, it doesn't surprise many that the calls are going their way. Indiana just needs to calm down and get back into the rhythm they were in during the first half of the game.
This Indiana and S.C. Game mamma Mia

It seemed like Indiana had South Carolina on the ropes in the first half, but midway through the third quarter, the Hoosiers just suddenly fell apart. The South Carolina defense can certainly unravel teams, but not this bad.
Indiana is going to need to find some sort of spark before this game gets way too out of hand, and they find themselves in a hole that will be too big to get out of.
