Bosnian center Andrej Acimovic and Acimovic's agent, Miljan Veskovic, told Indiana Hoosiers On SIthat Acimovic is trying to schedule his visit to the U.S. Embassy.

The freshman center Andrej Acimovic, who signed with the Hoosiers on July 28 is still in pursuit of his student visa and will not be apart of the teams three-game series in San Juan, Puerto Rico from August 5-12.

The Indianapolis Star's Zach Osterman reported Monday on X that Acimovic is "hoping to get to Bloomington later this month."

Acimovic played four games in the Under-19 ABA League with Igokea, the top league in Bosnia, and averaged 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game while shooting 65.9% from the field and 65.2% on 23 free throw attempts.

“Andrej is a talented big man that we are excited to get in our program and develop,” DeVries said. “He has good size and is able to score the basketball in different ways. He is strong on the glass and has good defensive instincts and timing when blocking shots.”

Acimovic turned 18 years old this past March and he has four years of eligibility remaining.
