Indiana men's basketball head coach Darian DeVries announced today that the 12th member of his 2025-26 basketball roster will be Serbian guard Aleska Ristic.
Aleska Ristic, will be the second true freshman in the 2025 recruiting class, along with four-star forward Trent Sisley. The Serbian guard played for the Serbian U20 national team in the European Championship and be eligible to play for the 2025-26 season.
Ristic averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting 51.3 percent from the field, 39.6 percent from three point range. He was the second-leading scorer on the team behind Andrej Kostic, who signed with Kansas State.

“Aleksa is a versatile guard that can play on and off the ball,” DeVries said. “He is a competitive kid that has high-level experience playing in FIBA events. We think he has the ability to handle the basketball and make plays out of the pick-and-roll while also being an efficient shooter that will add tremendous depth to our backcourt.”
