Indiana and Marquette have agreed to play a neutral site game at the United Center in Chicago, IL next season, according to Jon Rothstein's report
“Indiana and Marquette are finalizing an agreement to meet next season in a neutral site game at the United Center in Chicago, according to multiple sources,” Rothstein wrote on X for College Hoops Today.
The date and game time of this multi-team event are to be determined at a later date for 2025-26.
Led by head coach Shaka Smart, Marquette is currently 18-6 and ranked No. 18 in the AP poll. Indiana is 15-10 fighting for a shot to be an at large bid and make the NCAA Tournament. Indiana will also have a new coach with the announcement that current head coach Mike Woodson will be stepping down at the end of the season.
The Hoosiers will also continue their series with the Kentucky Wildcats when they travel to Rupp Arena on Dec. 20th, 2025.
This matchup taking place in the United Center makes sense, as both teams have strong alumni bases in the greater Chicago area.
The Hoosiers Indiana lead the all-time series over the Marquette Golden Eagles, 8-2.
