Indiana 2026 Recruiting Target C.J Givers Talks to CFB Insider about Hoosiers Offer

Corey Carmona aka Chalupa Batman got a chance to recently interview and sit down with three-star running back and Indiana recruiting target C.J Givers in an exclusive interview this past week and I'm here to break down Givers and what hope this interview gives Hoosiers fans moving forward with the electric running back.

C.J Givers is a three star running back recruit for Fellowship Christian in Roswell (Georgia). The 2026 recruit unranked currently for the 2026 class but already has major offers from Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Kansas State, Boston College, Minnesota, SMU, UCF, Clemson, Wisconsin and Virginia Tech.

Givers finished his junior campaign with 1,403 rushing yards, 21 touchdowns and 9.3 yards per carry for the 2024 season.

The 5 foot 10, 200 pound running back from the Peach state had this to say about his junior season:

"I would rate it probably an eight because we came up a little bit short. I got injured in the quarterfinals so I wasn’t able to play. I had a lot fewer carries than my sophomore year but about the same amount of yards so that just shows how much my production went up from sophomore year to junior year. That was a big focus of mine, my yards per carry and I averaged 9.3 yards per carry this year so that was a huge thing for me. said Givers

"All the backs you see getting paid in the NFL and that are successful in college are three-down backs. They can do it all. It was a big thing for me and I felt like I was able to show that during my junior season.""

CJ shares his favorite running backs he studies for inspiration and he mentioned Alvin Kamara and Saquon Barkley as two backs he models his game after. Let's hope Givers can look like those Pro Bowl back's in a Indiana Hoosier uniform one day soon.
