Hoosiers state of mind: What was your favorite on-the-field moment in college?

Breneman: My favorite moment has to be the 2013 Penn State vs. Wisconsin game, where I scored a 68-yard touchdown. It was an unreal experience and my final touchdown at Penn State. Another memorable game was at UMass when we played South Carolina, where I had 2 touchdowns. That was a defining moment, not just for me, but for our entire team.

Hoosiers state of mind: What advice do you have for young aspiring media personalities that are breaking into the business?

Breneman: The key is to be authentic and consistent. In a world overflowing with content, people will connect with you if you’re genuine and offer real value. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—start creating now, whether it’s videos, podcasts, or writing. The more you produce, the better you’ll refine your voice. Additionally, prioritize networking and building relationships. In the media industry, doors will open for you if people believe in you and your work. Above all, remember: consistency is what sets you apart."

The Indiana Hoosiers football program has been on the rise since Curt Cignetti stepped foor in the door after leaving James Madison last season.
