The Indiana Hoosiers may not have been a football school up to this point, but they are certainly becoming one under Curt Cignetti. However, for all the players who didn't have Cignetti as a coach adn have gone before the magical 2024 team, some found their way into the NFL.

With the 2024-2025 NFL Playoff officially underway, there are a few former Indiana Hoosiers still playing to win a Super Bowl. Both are players on the offensive line and in the NFC. Guard Dan Feeney and tackle Luke Haggard were both able to get into the playoffs with the Minnesota Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Haggard was a part of the offensive line protecting Baker Mayfield against a nasty Washington Commanders defensive line. While Haggard didn't get a lot of playing time this season, with it being his rookie year, he was still able to be around a playoff-caliber team. The Buccaneers didn't clinch the NFC South till the last week of the regular season, sending them into the playoffs as the 3-seed.

Unfortunately, the Buccaneers ran into a red-hot Commanders team led by a rookie quarterback and second pick in the NFL Draft, Jayden Daniels. The Bucs lost to the Commanders on a walk-off field goal as time expired, and their season is officially over.

For Feeney, his playoff season is just starting as the Minnesota Vikings are set to take on the L.A. Rams tonight at 8:15 p.m. The game was originally set to be in SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, but due to the wildfires in the Los Angeles area, the NFL chose to move the game to Arizona, where the Cardinals play.

Feeney has moved a lot in his career, especially recently, as he was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers back in 2017 and spent four seasons with them. Feeney then spent two years in New York with the Jets, a year in Chicago with the Bears, and is now with the Vikings.

Now, Feeney isn't the starter for the Vikings, but if starting center Garrett Bradbury were to go down with an injury, Feeney would be the next man up. The Vikings are set to be a team to watch in the NFC as it all came down to the last game of the season as to what seed the Vikings would get. A loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football resulted in the Vikings getting the 5-seed and matchup with the Rams rather then a bye week as the 1-seed.
