The former Indiana Hoosiers guard was selected as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft after spending five seasons with Indiana Hoosiers women’s basketball team under Teri Moren.
Berger was WNBA All-Rookie in 2023, but her role decreased in 2024 with the selection of global superstar Caitlin Clark in the 2024 WNBA Draft (No. 1 overall).
During her two-years in Indianapolis, Grace Berger averaged 13.3 minutes per game, averaging 4.2 points and 1.9 assists per game in 47 appearances.
At Indiana in Bloomington, Berger was a four-time All-Big Ten first team player, Berger scored 1,841 career points, had 573 assists and 752 rebounds in her five years at IU.
If Berger clears waivers, she will become an unrestricted free agent able to sign with any team in the WNBA of her choice.
