Former Indiana forward Miller Kopp is returning to Assembly Ball for TBT

Former Indiana Hoosiers and Oklahoma City Blue forward Miller Kopp has been added to the 2025 Indiana alumni team, Assembly Ball.

Kopp, who played his final two college seasons at Indiana after three years at Northwestern, will join Juwan Morgan, Al Durham, Jordan Hulls, Race Thompson, Yogi Ferrell James Blackmon Jr. and Troy Williams as the first nine former Hoosiers announced on this year’s team.

The Indiana alumni team is hosting The Basketball Tournament’s (TBT)regional alongside All Good Dawgs (Butler alumni) at Hinkle Fieldhouse from July 19–22nd.

He averaged 9.2 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for the Hoosiers in 70 starts, helping lead Indiana to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

After Kopp went undrafted in 2023 he signed with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League affiliate.

In 32 games, Kopp averaged 12.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 30.7 minutes per game while shooting 41.5 percent from 3-point range and 44.2 percent from the field.

The winner of the Indianapolis Regional will advance to TBT’s quarterfinals on July 27. The semifinals will be held on July 31, and TBT’s $1 million championship will be played on Aug. 3.

Assembly Ball is the No. 2 seed in the eight-team regional, one of eight regionals across the country. They will play their first game at 4 p.m. ET on July 19 against Fall Harder led by former Virginia star guard Kyle Guy.

Christian Watford, is listed as a player and GM while former Indiana guard AJ Guyton will serve as an assistant coach.

All games will be televised on FOX Sports 1 or 2 over the months of July and August.
