Former Indiana baseball legend Kyle Schwarber climbing up the all-time postseason home run leaderboard
In a win or go home situation, the Philadelphia Phillies take on the New York Mets, down 2-1 they will need to depend on Nick Castanellos, Bryce Harper, Alec Bohm and former Indiana Hoosier Kyle Schwarber to win and extend the series to game 5 at home.
Former first round pick of the 2014 MLB Draft, Schawrber recently set a new Phillies’ franchise mark with 12 career postseason home runs in their 6-2 loss last night in Game 3.
Schwarber has 21 career postseason home runs between the Phillies, Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox.
No left-handed hitter in postseason history has more homers than Schwarber. Only Manny Ramirez (29), Jose Altuve (27) and Bernie Williams (22) are above him on the all-time leaderboard.
Our job is to go out there and win a baseball game. Our goal is to find a way to make sure we can get it back to Philadelphia. That's our mindset. That's what it is. Everybody's going to do what they need to do. This is the postseason. There's no hidden key. We just have to find a way to win a game." said designated hitter Kyle Schwarber
First pitch is scheduled for 5:08 p.m. ET; the game will be broadcast on FS1
