Indiana men's basketball's alumni team, Assembly Ball played shorthanded and couldn't overcome a third quarter deficit, falling 89-76 to Fail Harder on Saturday in The Basketball Tournament at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

After leading by two at halftime, Assembly Ball was outscored 30-19 in the third quarter by Fail Harder.
Assembly Ball’s Al Durham led all scorers with 23 points and Darius Adams led Fail Harder with 21 points.
Assembly Ball's Yogi Ferrell and James Blackmon Jr. missed the game dealing with injuries. Ferrell dressed in uniform and warmed up before the game, but Blackmon Jr didn't dress but was on the bench. Two of the best players on their roster Noah Vonleh and Miller Kopp were on the roster, but they had not yet arrived to be with the team.
No reason was provided for Vonleh's absence, while Kopp is currently playing with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League.

With the win over Assembly Ball, Fail Harder advanced to the second round on Monday evening to take on Butler’s alumni team, All Good Dawgs in the group of 32.
TBT is an annual 64-team single elimination basketball tournament in the style of the NCAA Tournament. Since its inception in 2014, TBT’s open tournament format has attracted many alumni teams to compete for its winner take all $1 million prize.
The winner of the Indiana Regional will advance to TBT’s quarterfinals on July 29. The semifinals will be held on July 31, and TBT’s $1 million championship will be played on Aug. 3.
