Former Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke will soon report to the Dallas-Fort Worth area for practices leading up to the East-West Shrine Bowl at the end of the month and after his rough end to the season it will be much needed for the draft stock of Rourke.

Rourke ended the season with a disappointing loss to Notre Dame and played the entire season with the injury. He recently had surgery to repair the tear in his right knee before the NFL draft.

In Mel Kiper Jr's recent quarterback rankings Kurtis Rourke  is a projected Day 2 pick in the 2025 Draft.

Kiper Jr. released his updated 2025 NFL Mock Draft this week. Kiper ranked his top ten QB's  after the news that Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers announced he would be entering the draft, and Rourke is the No. 8 quarterback on Kiper’s list.

Here is the full list of quarterbacks:

1. Shedeur Sanders (Colorado)
2. Cam Ward (Miami)
3. Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss)
4. Jalen Milroe (Alabama)
5. Quinn Ewers (Texas)
6. Will Howard (Ohio State)
7. Kyle McCord (Syracuse)
8. Kurtis Rourke (Indiana)
9. Tyler Shough (Louisville)
10. Dillon Gabriel (Oregon)

Rourke may have dropped two spots in Kiper's latest rankings but is still projected to be a Late 3rd to Mid 4th round selection in this upcoming draft.

With Rourke's age, veteran leadership, quick release, size and accuracy his bst fits for the NFL Draft team wise are the 49ers, Eagles, Dolphins, Vikings and Cowboys are his best fits for him to develop as a long term backup and possibly spot starter in the NFL.
