Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti has been a titan when it comes to recruiting, especially in the Transfer Portal. While the Hoosiers made a name for themselves this season by being the team made up of low-ranked recruits coming out of high school, that doesn't mean that high-ranked recruits are all that bad, either.
Cignetti does a great job getting the right guys for his program out of the Transfer Portal, but now he needs to show that he can do it for the guys coming out of high school as well. There is one recruit from the state of Indiana who is looking elsewhere for his college career, but Cigetti must make a push for his talent to stay with the Hoosiers.
Five-star 2027 WR Monshun Sales takes a visit to Alabama
Five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales has been predicted to choose Alabama as his choice for his commitment out of the Class of 2027. However, there are many schools making a push for the highly ranked pass catcher.
Sales is currently ranked the No. 9 player in the Class of 2027, the No. 2 wide receiver in the class, and the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He recently took a trip to Tuscaloosa to visit with the coaching staff, and he is projected to pick the Tide.

Nothing is set in stone, however, as Sales is an Indiana native, and Cignetti could make a push for the elite wide receiver. Indiana has clearly proven that they can be winners and do it consistently, so Cignetti could use some of that National Championship pull to get Sales in the building, at least for a visit.
Sales has a visit set up in Bloomington this upcoming weekend that could have some favorable results for the Hoosiers.
