One of the best prep recruits at wide receiver in recent memory has dropped his top schools down to twelve he announced Thursday.
Monshun Sales of Lawrence North in Indianapolis, Indiana has named his top 12 schools, with the Indiana Hoosiers making the cut.
The generational prospect narrowed his schools down on Thursday night, telling Rivals' Hayes Fawcett that he will keep Indiana in the mix along with Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Miami, Oregon, Missouri, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Tennessee.

"The relationships with the coaches and the brotherhood that these programs have,” Sales told Rivals. “Most of the programs have developed at a high level, got their players ready for the next level, and they are competing at the highest level. I’ve gone to their practices and watched how their coaches coach their players and prepare them for games and the season. I could see myself going to one of the 12 schools and becoming a top guy and get to the best of my abilities and get to the next level.”
Sales is ranked as the No. 12 overall prospect in the class, the No. 3 wide receiver and is the top-ranked player in the state of Indiana, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings
The 6-foot-5 205 pound wideout is simply a freak athlete at the position. Sales massive frame and long arms will pay dividends against smaller secondary players at the college level. At his ripe age of 16 years old (class of 2027) he can end up very well being the No. 1 wide receiver and a top five player in the class when it's all said and done.
Sales hands, abilty to attack the ball in the air and speed make him a prime target for Indiana. The Indiana native would also be the top recruit to ever land with the Hoosiers in the history of the program.
Three other Big Ten teams appeared on his list, as Ohio State, Oregon and Michigan also made the cut. Six SEC teams and one ACC team was also included, with Notre Dame also added in the top list.
Sales would be a tremendous landing and fit for Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers offense. The skillful receiver would play besides LeBron Bond during his true freshman season and likely be the number one guy at the position in 2027 and beyond. Could you imagine four-star quarterback commit Jameson Purcell and Monshun Sales together?
