Indiana defensive lineman CJ West made his presence known at the 2025 NFL Combine. For anyone who didn't know who West was, they certainly do now, as he had himself a day showing off his skills to every single NFL team.
West was one of two Hoosiers to receive an invite to the NFL Combine, along with quarterback Kurtis Rourke. West started out his combine running a 4.95-second official 40-yard dash time, which was tied for fifth-fastest among defensive linemen. West has a 1.73-second 10-yard split and a 33-inch vertical jump.
Looking at the Next Gen Stats provided by the NFL, West has a 66 overall production score and an 86 athleticism score to make a 75 for his total score, which was ranked No. 7 among defensive linemen in the combine.
All-in-all, west had a great time at the draft, talking with a lot of teams and meeting with quite a few top defensive teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Fransisco 49ers.
After the NFL Combine, there is always an All-Combine team put together for both the offense and the defense, adn West found himself on the All-Combine Defensive team for his performance.

Looking at draft projections, it looks like West could be a day-three guy going anywhere between the fourth adn seventh rounds, but with his performance at the combine, West could see his stock go up and maybe even move himself into a day-two guy take. in the second or third round.
After transferring to Indiana for his final year at Kent State, West had 14 solo tackles, 42 total tackles, one pass defended, two sacks, and one forced fumble. West was also a big part of the Indiana defense that helped lead the Hoosiers to the College Football Playoff.
