Former Indiana basketball star Juwan Morgan is the latest former Hoosier to join this summer’s Assembly Ball squad in the TBT league.
The Indiana alumni team is hosting The Basketball Tournament’s (TBT) regional alongside All Good Dawgs (Butler alumni) at Hinkle Fieldhouse from July 19–22nd.

Juwan Morgan now joins Al Durham, Jordan Hulls, Race Thompson, Yogi Ferrell James Blackmon Jr. and Troy Williams as the first seven former Hoosiers announced on this year’s team.
Morgan spent four seasons at Indiana (2015–2019), where he appeared in 128 total games, his first two years under Tom Crean and the last two under former IU head coach Archie Miller.
A two-time All-Big Ten selection and team captain as a senior, he averaged 15.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in his final season while starting all 35 games.
Morgan, finished his career ranked in the top ten in program history in rebounds and blocks.
After going un-drafted in 2019, Morgan played in the NBA and NBA G-League from 2019 through 2023. He had stints with the Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors, in 52 career NBA games, Morgan averaged 1.5 points and 1.2 rebounds in six minutes per game.
According to Eurobasket.com, Morgan averaged 13.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.4 steals and a blocked shot in 27.7 minutes per game for Runa Basket last season. He will play with KK Buducnost with Yogi Ferrell in 2025 in Montenegro.
Tickets for all of Assembly Ball's games in the Butler regional are available to sign-up now. The full 64-team bracket will be announced at a later date.
The Basketball Tournament begins on July 19 and runs through July 22. A full-session ticket is $85 and single-session tickets are $15 each day except July 19 when they are $5.
Past winners include Carmen's Crew, an Ohio State alum team; Boeheim's Army, a Syracuse alum team; Golden Eagles Alumni and a Marquette alum team.
