Brad Crawford of 247Sports has released his projections for the top college football quarterbacks earlier this morning.
Here is how Crawford came up with the rankings for the upcoming season.
"This subjective list is heavy on expectations for next season, so we limited the scope to players on teams we expect to compete within — or on the fringes of — the top 25 throughout the year.
These rankings are strictly based on what we've seen from each player on the field up to this point and how we expect the 2025 season to go from a statistical standpoint. This ranking comes after conversations with several analysts and those in the scouting world on some of the players jumping off the page ahead of spring. Future NFL impact has zero influence on these rankings." stated by Brad Crawford of 247Sports
Indiana Hoosier transfer quarterback Fernando Mendoza comes in at No. 7 in the 2025 QB ranking projections.
Mendoza will be replacing Kurtis Rourke who had the best season of his stellar career, even finishing 9th in the Heisman Trophy race and was second team all Big Ten.
In 20 games and 19 starts with the Golden Bears, Mendoza completed 66 percent of his passes for 4,712 yards with 30 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
2025 projection: 231-of-339, 3,190 yards passing, 25 TDs, 5 INTs
