Eric Gordon only needed one stellar season at Indiana before departing for the NBA. Gordon averaged 20.9 points as a freshman for the Hoosiers and then as a rookie in the NBA, he made the All-Rookie team for the Clippers by averaging 16.1 points.
Gordon has been an effective scorer in the NBA his entire career and now in his 16th NBA season, he is being counted on for a few buckets off the bench by the Phoenix Suns. In the third year of his career, Gordon was a starter and he averaged a career-high 22.3 points.
Gordon was a part of the James Harden Houston Rockets teams that contended with the Golden State Warriors, but never won a title. He is still searching for one, now teamed up with Kevin Durant.
