Indiana basketball has never beaten the Ole Miss Rebels

  • Overall series record: 0-1
  • First matchup: November 19, 2009
  • Last matchup: November 19, 2009
  • Last Score: Mississippi 89, Indiana 71

Due to various tournaments and scheduling decisions, it’s not uncommon to see Indiana playing regular games against other power conference teams. Mississippi is just one of those schools that haven’t found their way onto the schedule very often, with the lone matchup coming in one of those early-season tournaments.

The two teams met in the first round of the 2009 Puerto Rico Tip-Off, with the Rebels securing an 18-point victory. Both teams struggled with turnovers, but Ole Miss got 26 points from Murphy Holloway and outplayed the Hoosiers throughout. Indiana would lose all three games in Puerto Rico, finishing just 10-21 on the season.
