With five national championships and decades full of history, the Indiana Hoosiers certainly has a place as one of the nation’s very best basketball programs.

The Hoosiers have been members of the Big Ten for over one hundred years and are arguably the most successful program in that power conference league. The Hoosiers achieved success at various times in their history, winning national titles in four different decades.

Going way back to the dawn of the program, the Hoosiers have played hundreds of basketball games against a plethora of different schools. A great number of those earliest games came against schools that no longer play Division 1 basketball, but there are still plenty of recognizable names among their all-time opponents.

There’s a long laundry list of great programs that Indiana has faced at some point in their history, though they clearly haven’t faced everyone. There are currently 362 D1 programs in the nation and Indiana simply hasn’t had a chance to face off against more than one hundred of those schools.

When you factor in that more than half of their schedule is against their Big Ten foes, it’s easy to see why Indiana hasn’t played every team in the nation, and why others have only been played a few times in over one hundred years. This sometimes means that the Hoosiers haven’t gotten a chance to avenge losses against certain opponents.

Today, we’ll be looking at that all-time history and focusing on the schools that have played and defeated Indiana but have never been beaten by the Hoosiers. This list only includes the current D1 programs and a slew of games from a few different eras of Indiana basketball.
