2. Fletcher Loyer – Freshman Guard – #2

2022-23 stats: 23 GP, 29.0 MIN, 12.4 PPG, 2.5 AST, 2.0 3PM, 36.2 3P%

Loyer shot just 2-for-8 and 1-for-3 from beyond the arc in his last game against Penn State, but this freshman has been on a tear shooting the ball this season.

The freshman from Fort Wayne has made multiple three-pointers in 13 games this season and has made a three-pointer in four straight games coming into Saturday. Loyer has attempted five or more threes in a game 14 times this season but has limited himself recently, averaging just 3.0 three-point attempts in his last six games.

Loyer is shooting 10-for-30 (30.0 percent) from three-point range in away games this season, 13-for-34 (38.2 percent) in neutral-site games, and 24-for-67 (35.8 percent) at home as a freshman sharpshooter.

Assuming Kopp will be responsible for running Loyer off the three-point line, he cannot lose him at any point or the freshman guard will make us pay.
