#2. Trayce Jackson-Davis has stepped up as a leader

Since getting embarrassed against Penn State on January 11th, the Hoosiers have won five straight games by an average margin of 13.2 points per game.

During that same stretch, senior Trayce Jackson-Davis has averaged 25.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 3.6 blocks. If that’s not Big Ten Player of the Year numbers or first-team All-American, I don’t know what is.

Scoring and statistics aside, it seems as though Jackson-Davis has completely led this team on both ends of the floor and seems to be playing the best basketball of his career. If the senior forward can continue this play, it will be tough to count the Hoosiers out of any game during the regular season or postseason.
