Romeo Langford – San Antonio Spurs

2022-23 NBA Stats: 32 GP | 19 GS | 20.2 MPG | 7.4 PPG | 2.9 RPG | 1.3 APG | 49.0 FG% | 28.3 3P%

Playing in his fifth NBA season, Romeo Langford has started more games this season (19) than he had in any of his previous four seasons (11). Langford set a new career-high in points (23), which he previously set in the 2020-21 season with 17 points against the Brooklyn Nets in the playoffs.

The Spurs are one of the young-and-upcoming teams in the NBA right now, and standing at 14-33 overall and fourth-worst in the NBA, San Antonio will likely be drafting in the top 5 for the 2023 NBA Draft and looking to add even more young talent to a young and talented squad.

In his freshman season for the Hoosiers, Langford started all 32 games for Archie Miller’s team and averaged 16.5 points and 5.4 rebounds in 34.1 minutes per game. He led Indiana basketball to a 19-16 record overall and was the leading scorer for the Hoosiers in 2018-19.

Coached by one of the best NBA coaches of all time, Langford is in good hands with the Spurs organization while he learns from one of the greats and is looking to get more and more playing time to learn and grow game-by-game.
