1. Tyson Walker – Senior Guard – #2

2022-23 stats: 18 GP, 33.7 MIN, 14.8 PPG, 2.7 AST, 0.8 STL, 1.3 TOV, 1.8 3PM, 41.0 3P%

Walker registered just 12 points on 4-for-10 shooting from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc in Thursday’s win over Rutgers but managed to tally up four steals in 29 minutes of action.

In Walker’s lone game against the Hoosiers last season, he provided tons of energy and recorded 15 points and two steals, along with shooting 5-for-10 from the field and 2-for-4 from beyond the arc.

Walker is the most clutch player on the Spartans’ roster and if it comes down to the last possession, he will be taking the shot. Jalen Hood-Schifino or Trey Galloway need to hunker down defensively against Walker and make sure he doesn’t get hot early.
