Indiana Head Coach Mike Woodson /

#1. Coach Mike Woodson did something different, and I’m here for it

Whether Coach Woodson challenged specific players or finally got through to these players, something finally changed in a positive direction.

At halftime, the Hoosiers were up 21-20 and the offense looked completely lost against a decimated Badgers team that was hoping for this kind of game. If only we could watch what was said at halftime, as Indiana basketball came out and scored 12 straight points to open up their lead to 33-20 by the 15-minute mark of the second half.

From that point on, the game was never really in question as the Hoosiers built up their lead to as much as a 21-point lead, it seemed as though Mike Woodson’s defense finally showed up in a big way and held the Badgers to a season-low 45 points at Assembly Hall.
