Three Badgers to contain for Indiana basketball on Saturday

1. Tyler Wahl – Senior Forward – #5

2022-23 stats: 13 GP, 29.3 MIN, 13.2 PPG, 6.4 REB, 1.8 AST, 1.4 STL, 2.7 TOV

The senior forward from Minnesota has missed the last two games after hurting his ankle in the Badgers’ first game of 2023 against Minnesota, a 63-60 win on January 3rd.

Aside from the game against Minnesota where he played just nine minutes, Wahl is averaging 16.5 points on 38-for-81 (46.9 percent) shooting from the field in his last games against major conference teams, including a season-high 23-point effort against No. 3 Kansas on November 24th.

If Wahl returns against the Hoosiers, Indiana basketball will be in for a very tough matchup on Saturday, but if not, Indiana has an opportunity to get a top-25 win against a not-so-talented team without Wahl.
