#3. Jalen Hood-Schifino had a bad game, and still looked like the only player that was competing

In 34 minutes of action, Jalen Hood-Schifino recorded 11 points on 5-for-15 shooting, 1-for-4 from beyond the arc, and 0-for-2 from the charity stripe, along with adding six rebounds, four assists, and two turnovers.

Though he had a less-than-impressive game, Hood-Schifino looked like the only player that was willing to shoot and attack Penn State’s defense on Wednesday night. The rest of the Hoosiers looked scared.

His two turnovers were definitely a show of improvement after his six-turnover night against Northwestern. At times he was careless, which is expected of a freshman, but at least he was looking for his shot when the only other player to attempt 10 shots in the game was Trayce Jackson-Davis.
