#4. Playing small ball might be the best option, for now

The lineup of Jalen Hood-Schifino, Tamar Bates, Trey Galloway, Miller Kopp, and Trayce Jackson-Davis seems to be the most effective when on the floor together.

Defensively, they have the energy and scrappiness of Trey Galloway and rim protection from Trayce Jackson-Davis, while offensively, they have Jalen Hood-Schifino creating plays with two (maybe three) shooters around him and Jackson-Davis running the paint.

Spreading out offensively may not be the most effective, but it would give Jackson-Davis the most room in the paint with the most shooters around him. Defensively, both Kopp and Bates need to show more energy and effectiveness, or I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gunn step in and bring that energy to the lineup.
