#5. Is it time for CJ Gunn & Kaleb Banks to get some real, consistent playing time?

Without the likes of Xavier Johnson and Race Thompson, somebody has to step up for the Hoosiers and it seems like it might be time for the other freshmen, CJ Gunn and Kaleb Banks, to get more consistent playing time in this short rotation right now.

Jordan Geronimo and Malik Reneau combined for eight points on 4-for-7 shooting, five rebounds, one steal, two turnovers, and seven fouls in a combined 34 minutes played. Reneau was responsible for all of those points scored.

Gunn came in and played a solid 14 minutes off the bench, and though he wasn’t hitting shots, he provided some energy and chaos on the defensive end of the floor that really only Trey Galloway brought to the game.

Banks is a long body that could impact the game defensively, and whether he scores or not, he’s a smaller body to play alongside Trayce Jackson-Davis that could energize the Hoosiers.
