1. Boo Buie – Senior Guard – #0

2022-23 stats: 14 GP, 32.9 MIN, 13.9 PPG, 3.4 REB, 4.2 AST, 1.1 STL, 1.9 3PM, 29.0 3P%

This kid Boo Buie killed Indiana basketball last season, almost single-handedly handing the Hoosiers a loss in 2021-22.

Buie has also played three career games against Indiana, averaging 10.3 points on 37.5 percent shooting from the field, and 29.4 percent shooting from three-point range. And although those stats don’t look incredible, his six made three-pointers in his last game against Indiana gave Northwestern the boost they needed to pull out a home victory.

Buie has logged seven 15-point performances in his senior campaign, including a 28-point domination on November 18 against Purdue-Fort Wayne with seven made threes. Buie has the talent and hot hand to be able to torch the Hoosiers in Assembly Hall, so with Jalen Hood-Schifino responsible for guarding him, he’s got to show up on both ends of the floor to keep Indiana in this game defensively.
