#4. How does CJ Gunn only play 5 minutes after his performance on Tuesday?

On Tuesday, December 20th, freshman guard, CJ Gunn, welcomed Elon to the Gunn Show, pouring in a career-high 11 points off the bench and bringing the energy for the Hoosiers to power them through the Phoenix.

On Friday, December 23rd, Gunn appeared in just five minutes of the game against Kennesaw State, logging zero points on one shot attempt, two rebounds, one assist, and a steal.

That, to me, doesn’t make the most sense, especially after his energy basically allowed the Hoosiers to pull away from Elon on Tuesday.

I believe that a lineup consisting of Jalen Hood-Schifino, CJ Gunn, Tamar Bates, Miller Kopp, and Race Thompson could have easily been used just as effectively, and maybe would have allowed Indiana basketball to not sweat this game as much as they did against the Owls.
