No. 18 Indiana basketball is trying to end 2022 on a winning streak before heading into the new year and conference play, taking on Kennesaw State on Friday.

The Hoosiers are hoping to get another strong group showing from the entire roster on Friday night against Kennesaw State, hoping to finish 2022 on a high note after beating Elon on Tuesday night, 96-72.

Here are my three bold predictions for No. 18 Indiana basketball to take down Kennesaw State before the holiday break:

#3. Tamar Bates knocks down five three-pointers

Bates made both of his three-point attempts against Elon on Tuesday, tallying eight points on 100.0 percent shooting from the field in 20 minutes off the bench.

Honestly, I was surprised Bates didn’t earn a starting spot over Trey Galloway with his shooting ability, but maybe Coach Woodson is thinking that a scoring punch off the bench is more important, especially with the offensive ability of Jalen Hood-Schifino.

I predict that Bates will knock down five or more three-pointers on Friday night and hopefully Hood-Schifino and others target him with strong passes.
