#2. Jordan Geronimo & the Hoosiers bring the energy and earn their second road win of the season

The supporting cast of the Indiana basketball program this season has been huge for Mike Woodson. The bench for the Hoosiers this season is averaging 28.4 points, which ranks sixth among major conference teams this season. The Jayhawks’ bench, on the other hand, averages just 13.9 points this season, which lands them the 10th-lowest among major conference teams.

If Jalen Hood-Schifino cannot go on Saturday, it seems as though Tamar Bates will be plugged into the starting lineup, while Trey Galloway would head back to the bench. That means the bench unit would consist of Galloway, Malik Reneau, Jordan Geronimo, and possibly CJ Gunn.

Of those guys, the one that really needs to show up and bring the energy is Geronimo. Only two major conference players this season have 10+ steals and 10+ blocks off the bench — Devin McGlockton (Boston College) and Jordan Geronimo.

If Geronimo brings the energy off the bench, the Hoosiers will be in a great spot to limit the Jayhawks defensively, especially with the smaller frontcourt that Kansas will bring out on Saturday.
