1. Jalen Wilson – Senior Forward – #10

2022-23 stats: 10 GP, 33.8 MIN, 22.1 PPG, 9.4 REB, 3.2 AST, 1.9 TOV, 42.6 FG%, 2.3 3PM

I can tell you one thing for sure, I did not expect Jalen Wilson to come out this season and play like the frontrunner for the Wooden Award. Man, was I wrong!

In Wilson’s lone game with under 15 points, the Jayhawks lost to No. 22 Tennessee, 64-50. In every other game, Wilson has 15+ points and has tallied up five 20-point games and one 30-point game.

Only five major conference players have three or more 15-5-5 games this season: Jalen Pickett (Penn State – five), Drew Peterson (USC – four), Tyree Appleby (Wake Forest – three), Keyonte George (Baylor – three), and Jalen Wilson (Kansas – three).

Race Thompson will be assigned to slowing down Jalen Wilson, and though it will be tough to do, Wilson will have a good game regardless of how well Thompson plays defensively. Can he limit Wilson just enough for Indiana basketball to come home with a huge road victory?
